MIADA – Modern International Art and Design Academy at CTBU (China)
MIADA, the Chongqing School of Fashion and Design
MIADA (Modern International Art and Design Academy) is part of CTBU (Chongqing Technology and Business University) in Chongqing, China. It is the first school in southwestern China to train design talent to international standards, with a curriculum based on the “EEPP” concept: Exploration, Experience, Professionalization, and Positioning.
The program in question is a four-year bachelor’s degree in fashion design.
Note: Chongqing is a mountainous city, best known for its subway line that runs through a residential building.
Three Students at the 2026 FIM Show
Three MIADA students were selected to represent the school at the FIM Show: Yuvia Chen, Evelyn Zhang, and Chen Miao.
Collection: Affirmation
This capsule collection is the result of a collaboration between Yuvia, Evelyn, and Chen. It embodies a femininity marked by strength and power: that of a woman who doesn’t hesitate to step out of her comfort zone to become the heroine of her own life, take control of her destiny, and fully embrace her self-confidence.
